SUN DAMAGE

Over time, the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) light damages the elastin in your skin. When the elastin breaks down, the skin begins to sag, stretch, and lose its ability to ‘bounce back’.  Sun damage can be as benign as mild melasma or as serious as melanoma. At best it can leave your skin with an uneven tone, darker areas, freckles, and wrinkles. At worst, skin cancer. Prevention and covering up is always best, but for already damaged skin, we can help with the appearance.

Erbium Laser Treatment

This laser is commonly used in dermatology and cosmetic procedures. It operates at a wavelength that is well-absorbed by water, making it effective for treating superficial and moderately deep skin issues. This laser can be used to address concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven pigmentation, and other skin imperfections. The laser works by removing the outer layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production, and promoting skin rejuvenation. It’s important to seek treatment from a trained dermatologist or healthcare professional experienced in using this laser to ensure safe and effective results.

Microneedling

This cosmetic procedure involves using a device with fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural wound healing processes, leading to increased collagen and elastin production, which can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and overall skin texture. It’s often used to treat various skin concerns and can be performed by dermatologists or trained skincare professionals.

Fractional RF Needling

This is a cosmetic procedure that combines the benefits of microneedling with radiofrequency energy to enhance skin rejuvenation and tighten skin. During the treatment, fine needles are used to create micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulates the body's natural healing response and promotes collagen production. Simultaneously, radiofrequency energy is delivered through these needles to heat the deeper layers of the skin. This additional energy helps to further stimulate collagen and elastin production, leading to improved skin texture, firmness, and overall appearance. Fractional RF needling can be effective for a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, and lax skin. The procedure typically requires minimal downtime, although some redness and swelling may occur after treatment.

Chemical Peels

Our customized, medical-grade chemical peels exfoliate and stimulate your skin to correct common conditions including fine lines, enlarged pores, congested skin, acne, blemishes, and irregular pigmentation with zero downtime. It’s time to shed unwanted skin and step into your light.

IPL Light Therapy

Intense pulsed light (IPL) or flashlamp therapy is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high-intensity pulses of visible light to improve certain dermatological skin conditions. It is well known for treating red and brown pigment disorders.

PDT Light Therapy

LED light therapy facial treatment involves the use of specific wavelengths of light to target various skin concerns and promote skin health. Different colors of LED light such as red, blue, and yellow, penetrate the skin at different depths and serve different purposes. Red light is often used to promote collagen production, reduce inflammation, and improve skin texture. Blue light is known for its antibacterial properties, making it effective in treating acne. Yellow light can help reduce redness and inflammation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. LED light therapy is non-invasive and is usually well-tolerated, making it a popular choice for skin rejuvenation and addressing specific skin concerns. It’s essential to consult with a skincare professional to determine the most suitable LED light therapy approach for your individual needs.
